A lot of work on 47493 has been undertaken by our friendly contractor Martin, down at the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway. It’s pleasing to send work to Martin and his son Sean, as we are keeping the money in the wider heritage railway movement, which ultimately helps everyone.

Contract work completed on this whistle/turret assembly and delivered back to the lads at Sciss . Whistle valve spindle remade with the seat area 1/2” lower to suit body, new cap nut /spindle nut and a full on polish.
